JANEEN ELLA JOHNSON

Janeen has served in stage management for dance, theatre and special events; she is a maven of stagecraft for over 20 years and Production tour de force on any team.  Janeen is a Field leader and advocate often sought out for her expertise in Arts Production & Event Management including trade tips from managing budgets, syncing logistics to assembling the “right” team. 

 

Her training in the discipline was cultivated through her service in arts management and her own personal dance training and stage performances where she gained insight into the art of stage-managing.  She has worked with celebrated arts organizations in both the public and private sectors such as Kongo SQ West Kinship Society, Fua Dia Congo, Urban Bush Women, World Arts West, Chitresh Das Institute and Cirque Mechanics.
